About Michelle

Michelle has been an English teacher - primarily Business English - for the last 21 years. Based in Southern Germany. Currently, her focus is on coaching and mentoring fellow teachers while teaching at Universities in Germany and the UK.

Having achieved a post graduate certificate in Business & Personal coaching in 2013, she continues to explore how that learning can be applied to the EFL and EAP classrooms. Michelle completed a Master's in Coaching in Education in December 2017, with Distinction, and has now embarked on a PhD in Applied Linguistics at the University of York in the UK.

Additionally, Michelle has participated on two Thinking Environment training courses: a one-day intensive with Nancy Kline and a two-day Time to Think Foundation workshop with Sophie Stephenson.

All these ingredients come together to inform and build the case for integrating a Thinking Environment into the classroom. Watch this space!
